New life has been breathed into a long established Woodseats area pub thanks to a new landlord.
After working at The Sheaf, on Fraser Road, for eight years, Craig Johnston took over the running of the venue nine months ago and has introduced a variety of new drinks and events, making the pub better than ever.

Craig, of Beauchief, said:

"I've brought in a much wider selection of spirits, there are now 54 to choose from including Irish and Scotch Whiskys and Vanilla spiced rums."
"There is also lots going off at the pub, from pool nights to live acts, and I've got even more planned for the near future."

Another change will be the beer garden which Craig, 24, hopes to improve with benches and heaters.
He said:

"We are the only pub in the area to have such a good-sized beer garden and I plan
to make it a nice place to relax with a drink in the summer."

Despite freshning up the pub in many areas, Craig has kept other things just the same
such as the traditional style and low prices, so instead of going into town, take a trip to your local today.
